Edgewood / Candler Park is an at grade train station on the Blue and is a part-time terminus station on the Green lines of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. It has Single island platform with two tracks. This station was opened on June 30, 1979. It is located adjacent to the Candler Park and Edgewood neighborhoods on either sides of the Georgia Railroad.
It provides connecting bus service to The Villages of East Lake, the Communities of Oakhurst, Edgewood and Candler Park, The Virginia Highlands, The Carter Center, Martin Luther King Jr., and the Ponce de Leon Avenue Historic Districts.
The station is the part-time eastern terminus of the Green Line (formerly called the Proctor Creek Line).
